The general introduction of Travel agency 1.What is a travel agency A travel agency is a private retailer or public service that provides travel and tourism related services to the public on behalf of suppliers such as activities, airlines, car rentals, cruise lines, hotels, railways, travel insurance, and package tours. In addition to dealing with ordinary tourists, most travel agencies have a separate department devoted to making travel arrangements for business travelers; some travel agencies specialize in commercial and business travel only. There are also travel agencies that serve as general sales agents for foreign travel companies, allowing them to have offices in countries other than where their headquarters are located. 2.The Operations of a travel agency A travel agency's main function is to act as an agent, selling travel products and services on behalf of a supplier. Attitude Is Everything

There is a well-known proverb,"Every horse thinks its own pack heaviest," which means whether people feel optimistic or not lies in what attitudes they adopt. It is universally acknowledged that life is by no means perfect and a positive attitude makes life brighter. As the case stands, it is our attitude rather than the situation itself that determines how we feel. On the one hand, a positive mind brings about an active life, because to be in a good mood or a bad mood is at one' s own choice. On the other hand, looking at the bright side of the situation and remaining cheerful work out quite well when one is confronted with adversity. In such a rat-race society, everyone is bound to encounter difficulties. In my opinion, we should keep an optimistic attitude to pull through any hardship, as we can say "attitude is everything".

Ability Is of Greater Importance than Certilicates

With the job market growing increasingly competitive, being certified has become a trend among job-seeking youth. Some are in favor of such a practice for it can enrich college students' life, gaining an edge over other competitors and boosting certificate owners' confidence. Some strongly object to it for it will cost us a lot of time, money and energy. What's worse, those certificates can be totally impractical and useless when college students take up a job after graduation. In my opinion, ability is of greater importance than certificates.         The ultimate goal of obtaining certificates is to gain advantages over other competitors in job hunting. However, interviewers rarely offer a job by means of a certificate. A series of interviewing procedures will be conducted to test the comprehensive abilities of an interviewee. A certificate is only one of the primary qualifications for the interviewee to get involved in the following rou...

The importance of curiosity

The above saying from einstein vividly echoes a piece of quotation: stay hungry; stay foolish, which is put forward by steven jobs, the late ceo of apple inc. undoubtedly, both of the two great men attach importance to curiosity. to some extent, we may safely maintain that without curiosity, without success.        In the first place, curiosity is the premise of innovation, which can be seen as the key to success. besides einstein, a case in point is steven jobs, who always keeps curious, devoted to innovation. so, there is no exaggeration to say that the success of apple inc doesn’t suppress us at all. in the second place, the quality of being curious provides us with the drive to go forward. to put it another way, where there is curiosity, there is advancement. for example, if a scientist desires to make progress in his research community, he must hold a curious heart; otherwise, his research will eventually go into a corner.   ...

If you are to die tomorrow, and only one word will appear in your tomb, what is the word?

If I were going to die tomorrow, I must be very scared and regret I think. Because there are so many things I haven't done yet. There are so many people I am loath to part with or leave. But what will I write on my tomb? To be honest, I haven't think about this question ever.       If only one word, what kind of words will I choose? I think I will choose the "self-control". Because it is the ability that I am lacking in. But at the same time, it is also a very very important ability.       I can't emphasize the significance of self-control too much. When someone is studying, if he doesn't have an ability of self-control, he may can't persevere in his learning rather than do something he likes. When someone is angry, if he doesn't he can't control his emotion well, he may outburst and say something bad which really hurt others. When he calms down, he may regret what he did. Nevertheless, some hurt once done, is irreversible. ...
